I make custom strait jackets. As strong or stronger than the original. To your size and specks. most jackets are around 175 to 200 depends on size, buckles, and material. Most of my jackets are made with 10 oz canvas and some are 14 oz canvas double stitched seams and all edges surged. I only use the best thread t69 upholstery thread. The largest thread that can be run threw a non commercial sewing machine . Can provide photos just ask
