Status: offline 		Thanks for that dcnovice I probably spend a little too much time on it in truth. For every good picture there are twenty bad ones. It’s good to see yourself in new lights though. Finding the line where you don’t recognise yourself in them anymore.

That's not a bad ratio, actually. I remember reading that National Geographic photographers shoot about a thousand rolls per article.

Status: offline 		I work for a photographer and we average about 250 - 300 shots per session.  From that we choose about 20 - 30 to enhance the lighting and crop and correct.  The end result is that we have 3-5 to add to our portfolio.

wow!  i don't feel so badly about my pics then...when i was out on the road, i was required to send Him at least one pic per day & it got to the point where i started liking one of the pics every few days, which was better than the beginning of the assingment, to be sure...
