I am in search of a source to improve my rope/binding techniques. Any form of instruction will be helpful, books, dvd, vhs, other sites, etc...

goto amazon.com look for midori in books, and 'showing you the ropes' by the knotty boys, that is a hell of a start. And believe me, it is the cheapest I can find them.

Monk of www.twistedmonk.com just put a ton of instructionals on his site as well as on youtube.com. They have Karada Steve's DVDs, plus a ton of books from folks like Midori and Bridgett Harrington.

I can't thank you both enough for the help. I had searched Amazon but wasn't getting the topics, once I did your suggested search I think I found the holy grail! I've ordered a few books by snail mail and anxiously await their arrival. I am now off to view the YouTube link as well. Thank you again for both of you, you've been an awesome help!!!

google RiggerMorTis he has several sites with information on techniques. What I have to share with you is that rope work is muscle memory. You can not learn it if you do not practice it. So don't get discouraged when it's hard to figure out or learn at first. Practice truly makes perfect...I know *S*
