Status: offline 		It probably wouldnt have been quite so bad if I wasnt trying to fell a tree with really way too long acrylic nails on.....nail is what really got bound up, snapped and broke backwards, taking with it my real nail, along with quite a bit of skin.

Yea, right now it really does look like Im missing about a centimeter of my finger, but according to the ER doc, it will all grow back without a problem.

Status: offline 		OK folks...the UMs are now taking much needed naps...and I am going to go work on grouting my new tile on my kitchen countertops.....if I get it grouted today, I can seal it tomorrow, and then install my kitchen sink by wednesday....ooh....I cant wait until I have a sink...and I cant wait until I get to the plumbing part of this project...I hate tiling, but the plumbing will take less than 20 minutes.....

Congrats on the 500 page mark, Angel. Considering you were somewhat "preoccupied" at the moment, I'm not surprised you missed it. ;)

Lovely Ghita... I'm so sorry for your injury and the loss of your acrylic nail. Please do us all a favor... the next time you have another one of those daunting tasks to perform, you let me know? I'm less than an hour from ya and I'm not entirely useless when it comes to taking trees down (worked on a tree farm as a kid)... or tiling/grouting... things like that. ;)

Cuffs, you sun-tanned but bug bitten lovely lady... sorry you didn't appreciate the lovely weather we Floridians kept around for ya. But I do wish to thank you, for while you were here, our streak of over 90+ F for over 60 days did break once... it only got up to 87. So, there's that. :)
