Status: offline 		I think what is the hardest part to digest (re: humiliation) is the word itself.

Sure, hateful, harmful degredation isn't something anyone would really bring upon themselves (well, generally speaking... there are many out there that really enjoy that) but I think what most people speak of when they talk about humiliating another person is the playful "picking on" that we all engage in... even vanilla folk engage in playfully putting down people.

So try thinking about playful aspects that are considered humiliation & not focus on what is considered hard degredation.

Just a tilt on prespective

Curiously New, it is one of the most requested and sited prefered activities of male subs...the key seems to be that it must be very tailored to the individual.  There are places where being taken down a peg or two is apparently a total turn on...I guess they are feeling that no one is giving them boundaries or they feel guilty about certain things they "get away with".  But there are aspects that one is really truely sensitive about that if targeted can be quite damaging...so it seems to require a good bit of self knowledge to work well.

Thanks Passion!  I totally get the teasing apsects and truely enjoy it...kind of pranksterish, verbal wit and banter...yep that is fun. 

One of my really good vanilla friends years ago finally pulled me aside after I was confused by a boy pulling back after there had been some playful verbal sparing....my friend also a fella let me know that I just about always come out on top in such situations resulting in stunning the fella into to silence and discomfort and that I might need to dial it back a bit.  He was right I discovered when I paid more attention....but that was in the land of vanilla mwuah ha ha ha.  No paying attention and modulating was great advice.  Thank god for good friends who will tell ya what you need to hear some times.

And definitely not ready for prime time.

It's held together by an ultra-minimal CMS engine that is driven by a non-relational database. The page templates are designed to be drag-and-drop compatible with PostNuke's "user level" options.

Speaking cryptically: well, there's a number of people who are on here that would maybe want to see it first before seeing it elsewhere... That'd be the "project people." Everyone else, I think it's a nifty if slightly academic explanation of why I'd get up on stage in full on Lizard King (Queen?) invocation mode while wearing a snappy pencil skirt and heels...

Articles: Cliff, this is what I was saying about tone and style. But you're the editor - I'm just a potential contributor.
Style: Jules, chartreuse goes really well with black... cf. Absinthe restaurant in SF.

I too have a hard time with some forms of "humiliation" that some people engage in but that's when I have to remind myself, different strokes for different folks" & so long as they don't attempt to impose their kink upon me... its all good.

I had one case years ago where I had to set boundaries at a play party because this couple's kink invaded my personal space.

Part of their scene involved him writing some rather crude, derogatory messages & words on her body & after they finished their scene he had her go walk around the party's social areas so that she could display his "art". When she approached my table where myself & several friends were sitting she wouldn't leave until she had everyone's attention. She stood there hopping slightly on her toes, waggling her breasts with the foul graffiti. I got up, went over to her top & told him that I would prefer he reel her in just a bit because I didn't particularly care for the intrusion.
