Hope Everyone who celebrates "Turkey Day" had food and happiness a plenty!!

I was just saying in another thread that it's 6:30 a.m. and I'm all but out the door to do a bit of shopping for a few essentials ... bad planning on my part ...  anyway .. I'm hoping to beat any "after Turkey Day / SALES" shoppers

Status: offline 		yes- windchill here. the winds blew over a widnow unit that i need 2-3 guys to nail on. it crashed and broke a pane. i was browsing house ads. damn EVERYthing is so expensive!

What were they thinking? 

That has got to be a miserable shopping trip.  Cranky kids, cranky parents, cranky other people. 

I like my holiday shopping to be enjoyable.  I plan it out so that there is time to stop for snacks or lunch, plus keeping it short enough if Her Majesty is along, so that she doesn't get cranky, and if she is not along, still short enough that myself or anyone I am with does not get too tired or frustrated.  And definatly never going if I am in a foul mood.  Otherwise, what is the point. 

No "bargain" could be worth dragging cranky little ones around with me. 

It is cold today here as well.  It seems that the weather heard that the holidays were here and it wanted to participate.  It started this cold snap Wednesday.  Tuesday was beautiful. 

Ah well, such is life.
