Hey...anyone remember the formula for finding circumference of a circle???? I think I had too much beer.

C = pi * d

Where:

C = circumference
pi = 3.14 (close enough for most basic calculations)
d = diameter

I have all of Her Highnesses christmas gifties bought. I am not sure what to put in her stocking though. My mom's gifts are bought. And so are my nephews and niece. But I have no idea what to get for the adults. Maybe I will just say, "I drove out here, isn't that enough?"

It's been a busy weekend with, believe it or not, deep cleaning of various things: fountains, lawn tools, power equipment. This is all in preparation for some heavy lifting, ground breaking tomorrow for some new beds. :-/

I've got some calligraphy to do tonight on one gift for my niece, as far as Christmas things go.

That's about it... nothing too exciting. :-)

P.S. Get the adults gift cards to their favorite restaurants, for an night out on their own, away from the kids (if they have any).

Not professionally, but it was an interest I developed about fifteen years ago. Over the past couple of years, due to my neuro thing, my hands haven't been as steady as they should be to make the writing come out looking nice. But, I keep at it from time to time despite how bad it may look, if for no other reason than to try to keep my hands and fingers limber.

I take a stab at it now and then, but it's a challenging art for a lefty.

I'm not practiced enough with the art to be able to think I'm any good with it, but members of my family, being the gracious people they sometimes can be, think it's great. So I don't mind practicing the art on projects for them. As for using calligraphy for others' projects, I'm not confident with my skills to entertain that thought. :-)

Thanks dc. It does tend to calm me down and get my mind off something that may have been bothering me. For that, the exercise is worth it despite the occasional failure in the finished product. :-)
