Status: offline 		probably not...just wishful thinking on my part...i take him out in this stuff & he gets back in the truck & jumps on the bunk & rubs his little body all over the comforter...YUCCCKKKK!!!!  i've tried explaining to him how i would prefer that he wait till i get back there with his towel, but he thinks i'm kidding around...

one of the biggest differences between dogs & cats, i've discovered, is that if one laughs at a grown cat, the cat will be humiliated & never do that again...if one laughs at a dog, he thinks he's done something really special & will repeat it at every opportunity...

unfortunately, i laughed at him when he did this the first couple of times...but it's really his fault, cuz he's so darned cute!!!

I do believe someone has made up just such a contraption... it's called Dry Bones and is available from both Amazon and Target; probably other places as well.

Status: offline 		I had seen another one which looked more like a hood that pooches wear, with the umbrella being attached to the hood. In that fashion, the umbrella is sized to keep the rain off of the head, neck, and shoulder area but the back and haunches are left exposed.

Perhaps that would be a happy compromise between your need to keep your little friend dry and still keep him somewhat respectable to his buds?
