Errr.. "Dungeons and Dragons".

I trust this evening is better than last?

Thanks insty.

It is, though I'm still offended at how some can say the baseless things they do given the circumstances that they themselves are in. It never ceases to amaze me... just when I think I've seen how low a person can go, someone comes along and drags their knuckles even lower.

I think that I just got c-mail intended for someone else.  Should I let them know, or is this some sort of ploy to get me to respond?

Hmmmmm

I wonder who Sharon is anyway.

Sure, first BSB watches cricket porn, and NOW she is going out!

The inhumanity of it all.

And it is probably pleasant weather to boot!

Since Wizards of the Coast bought out TSR (ie. v. 3), that game went downhill.  The Dragonlance "New Age" or whatever it was called completely abolished dice.. WotC had turned it into M:TG.  *puke*

I still have all my Ed.1 and Ed. 2 books.. Ed. 1 was da bomb. :-)

My god.. I'm a DORK.

That's alright bear, I haven't a clue either. I know such games exist but I have no idea as to how they're played, etc. My youngest brother was into them at one time; I just never caught the bug.

My problem was none of my friends were into RPGs so I never had the opportunity to learn to play them. Yet it was something I've always wanted to. sigh

I guess at the time, I was more interested in the burgeoning home computer hobbyist scene, so mystical characters and odd rules didn't entice me. I was more interested in binary programming on home-built computers made from breadboxed circuits.

Then you do NOT want to know ALL of the RPG stuff that we have in this house.

Nor, the decor of the nursery.

As for Sappa and Bear. . .

My other half has and does run games for and with beginers.  I am SURE that he is not the only one.  If you are really interested, you should find a local game store and ask them if they have any open games or DMs that would not mind a just learning.  You can get a basic players kit with book, character sheet, dice, and mini for about 25 to 30 dollars.

Personally, I just enjoy games.

If you want to try a role-playing kind of game, but without all of the paraphenilia, I suggest, Betrayal at the House on the Hill, it is technically a board game, but there is a bit of role play.  There is also the card game, Munchkin, all the thrill of the dungeon crawl with none of the role play.

Happy gaming!
