I once made a lovely wreath out of IBM cards. Surely that must count for something.

The topest-end I have is the one I'm typing on.. The other is an AND something that barely functions as a graphic design box, the other two are ancient, the LAMPs are all PIIIs...  lol

Look at newegg.com.. good prices.  If you have a case you can put together a decent machine for about $500... well, assuming you've got a 500watt (or so) power supply.. the high end video cards these days require their own power.

yea aint that the bloody truth lol i have an older system i built a year or two back i gave to mom, it was a nice AMD case, she said she was gunna give it to me buy a new one, i was gunna rebuild it once i got it back lol, or just wait till tax returns come in :P and buy a new better laptop all together :P was at walmart looking at a NICE Acer

I've got an eMachine from Walmart.. thing runs like a champ. lol

I'm really REALLY hoping tax return will net enough that I can replace my Les Paul.. *sigh*
