Especially when I mention vigilantes and I also dared to use the armed forces as an example  lol. Like you said, there are bad apples everywhere. One can not condemn the whole because of a few.

Status: offline 		The scary part is itseems that for many, they haven't learned any valuable lessons over the past several centuries that vigilantism and blanket condemnations only creates a greater problem. Seems to me this is one step towards repeating terrible atrocities against our fellow human beings.

yup....i mean, people need to realize that the press is only going to report the idiots....very rarely do you see the "good" and "heroic" written about, it's always "what's going to rile the populace and sell papers."

seriously, it's ok to be upset about the incident but wait for the entire story to come out and, god forbid, you hold the INDIVIDUAL accountable and not the entire profession.  All the doctors out there that operate out of pure greed and, through negligence, cause irrepairable harm and even death....but you don't see this kind of witch hunt...it's apalling.  But hey, that's why i'm staying away from the thread...cuz i've had my run in of bad cops...but i've had MORE run-ins with GREAT cops...it's like any group of people. *grrr*

Status: offline 		Got as far as 3 posts into page 2. couldn't read anymore. I have cousins and friends who are officers and when ppl start bashing all of themit makes me sick.  Eveyr group has good and bad ppl in it and yes when said groups are in postions of power and members abuse that power, yeah we all get uspet but the ones who get the most upset are their fellow cops, firefighters, doctors, etc.
