Status: offline 		im not sure about that... I mean, Macs rock for video/photo/music editing, but thats about it, for everything else, theres a cheaper pc alternative

actually I guess my real problem with macs are that they all cost way to much... since all the parts are proprietary they can charge whatever the hell they want...

Status: offline 		i've had mine for three years, never had to replace or add anything. never had problems with it. mind - i also use mine much differently than what they're prob meant for.

and i had a student discount, so my mac mini was actually cheaper than most pc alternatives

Status: offline 		That number is actually from Gamepros research.... there may be Mac owners that play video games, but serious computer gamers use PCs... (though a lot of them own Ipods)

so they thumb their noses at macs but flock to buy the ipods regardless. like i said, says something.....

Status: offline 		Well Zunes suck the fat ass... iPods are imo the best thing apple has ever made... (besides the appleII) its not so much thumbing ones nose at anything (though computer techs do that, mainly because we hate working with em)  but simple economics... and that most games are designed for the PC rather then a Mac

so if macs are better at the graphic/video end of things, you'd think that there'd be lots more games/gamers on them, wouldn't you?

Status: offline 		unfortuneately the main reason that macs are better with editing software isnt a hardware thing, but rather that the software Apple makes for em rocks
