Status: offline 		I love it when smarmy people call me to tell me I'm doing something wrong and end up apologizing!  Got a phone call from an insurance company, something like this: 

REP:  Your patient, Mrs. Smith, called us to complain that you were billing her instead of us for her visits. Why are you not doing your job?
ME:  Which part of my job, exactly, do you think I am not doing?

REP:  The part where you are supposed to bill us.
ME:  Really?  Are you aware that we are not participating with your network?

REP:  Ohhhh, uhhhh, no.  You're not in our network?
ME:   No.  Are you aware that when I do send you a claim, as a courtesy to the patient because the patient insists on it, you do nothing with it at all and it goes into a black hole never to be seen again?  No acknowledgment, no denial, nothing?

REP:  Uhhhhhh, no.
ME:  Are you aware that your company has a policy of telling patients that you will pay for services but neglect to mention that you won't pay for those services if they come see us?

REP:   Uhhhhhh, no.
ME:  Are you aware that we have told Mrs. Smith numerous times that if she wants to see us, she will have to pay for it herself and she has acknowledged that in writing?

REP:  Uhhhhhh, no.  Uhhhh, I guess this is the point where I say I'm sorry for the apparent confusion.
ME:  No, this is the point where you say you're sorry for telling me I wasn't doing my job without bothering to find out all the facts first.

REP:   (big pause) I'm sorry.  I'll call the patient and tell her that we won't pay for the services.

TAKE THAT!

I love it when I get to spend actual extended time with the boys. Angel even took me to his church to introduce me around ( a major thing for us, since curch is such a big part of his life) and I spent the entire weekend there. And Fox is coming down for a few days this week, AND a few days next! I have 4 day vacations planned with both boys, going with Angel to Cinci to Kinds Island and then going camping and canoeing with Fox in July. I LOVE the summertime!

Status: offline 		I love it when I get in to see the attorney and walk out an hour later with everything gone over and verified. The ex doesn't stand a chance if he pursues this, he is in severe direct violation of the orginal court order. So I wrote out what I will agree to and gave it to the ex tonight and told him that if his attorney modifies the stipulation to those terms, I'd sign it and we'd be done. If that happens in the next few days, I'm still out of here on the 30th. So yeaaaaaa!!!!

Jerk will still owe about $7,000 if he goes along with this but I'll probably never see that money..... Oh well.

Ya but holly maybe one of these days when things settle down, I can come down and meet ya? You'll only be a few hours south of me and I ain't never been to Pennsylvania. Been through it but never to it. And i would love to meet you!!!  I'd miss not meeting hotty and Greedy but hey, if we're up north, at least we could meet, couldn't we?
