Asher, I passed on that area problem... How about this one dude, find the net profit: ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Apparently the skunk weed is very fluffy this time of year and the average weight is only 11-12 kilos a bail (count as 25lbs per). 2 pallets of weed. The weed pallets are 3 bails per layer, 4 layers high. I pallet of cocaine. Kilos are the "Queen" style with test flap and a Columbian coin imbedded oblong and approx 8” x 11” x 2”. They are stacked 4 deep by 6 wide per layer. There is 20 layers. Delivered to the US, the weed is $675.00 a pound and the coke is $9,000.00 a kilo. There is supposed to be 600 lbs of weed and 500 kilos of coke. If that were accurate (it’s not), the total bill would be 4,905,000.00. Shipping & handling costs quite a lot. The 3 boat captains (one pallet per boat) are getting $10,000.00 each for about 2 or 3 hours work. Once ashore, the 2 pilots get $25,000.00 for flying at max capacity in their Cessna Warriors. Further, for security and to avoid delays, a 6 man crew from Detroit is there to break the load up into 2 equal parts and load the planes on the beach quickly. The Detroit crew gets $100.00 a day not to work (travel etc) and $1,000.00 a day when they do work… that’s $1,100.00 each. There is also a truck that takes most of the weed since weed is only a 4 year felony. OK, so the 2 in the truck will work an extra 2 days driving back to Michigan count $500.00 for expresses and $1,000.0 a day each. The planes cruise at about 200 so they get there in 6 hours, and should only have to stop for fuel once unless the weather is bad. However with a max load, they stop twice. The “midnight fuel” stops cost 3,000.00 (a pair) until we hit Ohio where it costs $5,000.00. Fucking touchy farmers in Ohio had too many plains crash on them because they were overloaded and the Gov started wondering about all these 600 mile range plains with a million dollars worth of dope smashing into farms with near empty tanks, especially because the farms had runways and fuel. Same happened in Harsens Island MI. So finding a “midnight fuel stop and getting your tank topped off” got harder because of the seizure laws. Of note, the planes should make it to the top of North Carolina and they are so small, weather and payload make a big impact on fuel economy… 10% or better. But with only a 48 gallon tank, that’s not a whole lot of leeway under the best conditions much less flying at max payload. ................................................... Ok Asher, my mathematical friend… after all that. Once in Michigan, you can move the weed for $1,200.00 a lb and sell the coke for $14,000.00 a kilo. Express the real cost of the load since what was ordered is not what was delivered. Show net profit after real cost of the product and labor is deducted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ OK... I am on my 4th hot toddy... I hope I did that problem right.
