Status: offline 		Actually, toady, he's great with remembering when to take meds and all.  He's amazingly on top of things.  I'm wondering if he isn't battling a bit of depression himself, just with everything this past month.  I'll let his dr. know about this, too.  He's a sweetheart of a man, and I think the oversized platter that christine is referring to may just have splashed his way.  I wish he didn't share in my stress.

Christine, grab an oven mitt, baby!  This plate is getting hot!  *whew*

Status: offline 		DRH I am sorry to hear about your Dad and how he is feeling about things. It is hell getting older.. and *feeling* older.

I used to work in a ALF (Assisted living facility) and I can tell you now 99% of them would have much rather have been home.

Not to mention the finacial burden it is to have some one in a ALF.

Hun I hope he finds the grace to accept we all get to go through the aging process.. some less gently then others.. and that he realizes what an amazingly good daughter he has in you.
