slight raindrop of gloom on your hopes red. technically, she'll have to declare that she's not impartial, that she knows you and thus disqualify herself for being on the board (unless they approve her and keep in mind that you know each other). otherwise, if someone doesn't get the job, finds out about it, they can file a complaint that they didn't have a fair chance.

anyways how could they not hire you? you have knowledge, you have charm, you have good rapport with people of various walks of life, you have perseverance and good cheer in the face of adversity, you have empathy (organising the picnic despite being let go).... these are EXCELLENT and very marketable skills.

i love that when i was with Him, i was sitting in front of the fan trying to deal with the humidity there and he told me He was getting a hard on just looking at me. that just makes me smile for some reason.
