I sent someone the answer.  Sorry I didn't come back, no one was guessing when I had checked.

Before that person comes in, I'll give you all a hint.  L  C  Z  R  all stand for something, each letter.  The letters have no meaning combined, they are not an acronym.  Another hint.....your car antenna uses the properties of each.

They can be, depending on how they are referenced, but still that doesn't explain in what way they are related.

They're all Sherlock Holmes stories. We you looking for something more specific than that?

Okay, this is an attempt at a game based on when my cousin used the Beatles to teach me set theory.

Here's how it works:

(1) Person A lists four things that have a common thread (John, Paul, George, Ringo)

(2) Person B identifies the common theme (musicians who belonged to the Beatles), then lists four new things.

Might work; might not. But hey, let's give it a try.

First set:

April
June
September
November

Having seen the Beatles in 1964 in Seattle (and having been barely 5, taken by my brother), and knowing even then that this was a life changing event...I can honestly say....

Your question / post is remarkably stupid.

Excuse me...my error...allow me to rephrase.....

Beyond stupid.

Thanks for sharing, Gris.

Given that the game's now on its 108th page, I'm guessing at least some folks enjoy it.

Gris,

What the heck?  If you don't like the game, you don't have to play.  I don't understand why you would post something like this.  Seems a bit out of character.

Wow, I never found mention of hautbois as a fruit.  Nice combination.

L
C
Z
R

R= resistence
Z= Impedance
C= Currant
The letters have to do with electricity. Also, they can be measured in Ohms. At least I think so, I couldn't understand what L really stood for.

Shiver cmailed me the answer, and you've basically got it. He said L= Inductance, C= Capacitance, Z=Impedance, and R= Resistance. The letters are, he said, symbols for various electronics terms.

Your turn to post if you'd like.

Cheers,

DC

Sister Steve was not in movies. I don't think...
But, it is pretty close I was just going with fictional nuns
