That's WONDERFUL news, Rain!
Keep in mind, though, (I HATE to say this) that Humane Society's will put down animals if they need the room. I was going to volunteer w/my local HS, but after going thru the tour, seeing the euthanasia room, seeing the freezer that holds the HEADS of animals being tested for rabies, it was all I could do to get to my car before I broke down crying............  Are you able to to handle that?

**Uh, Jilly's a GIRL therefore no BOY can look like her!! nods....
To keep w/the thread, I love that Jilly is always 6 inches away from my shoulder (if that far) when she's not wrestling w/her brudder**

It's a whole different feeling once you get there/meet the furbabies.
I knew that ours put the animals down too, but I thought I could handle it. I just don't want you to go thru what I did emotionally.......and that was just at the orientation!!!!! I'm such a wus!!!!!  That's an ADMIRABLE trait, being a volunteer at the HS. It takes a STRONG person to do that and that's not me :(((
I know you'll do fine!

our HS here is a no kill shelter. I think it varies in different areas.

And btw...GO RAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But how is Lumus going to react when you bring each and every cat home with you?

i love that i finally got off my ass and started a walking program and that tomorrow i'm getting some sort of machine; an elliptical or recumbent bike...something to add to the walking anyway.

Status: offline 		I love it when working 11 hours straight at my new office is still better than working 8 hours with a 1 hour lunch off-site at the old job.     (The extra hours today were my choice...  I wanted to make things a little easier on myself tomorrow so I can leave earlier than usual.)
