Status: offline 		I hate when I tempt the fates and say that I'd rather be doing anything than going to a wedding that I wasn't in the mood to travel to, and 15 minutes before we're getting ready to leave, Thing 2 pukes her guts up, so we really didn't go.  Cleaning up barf was not really in the "anything" else that I was referring to.  My poor Thing...  at least she's feeling better now.

Status: offline 		Thanks, ladies.  Poor thing, she just looked pitiful.  I hate barf.  But I hated the thought of driving to MD for a wedding that I wasn't feeling like attending, esp. since it was outside in the damn DC area heat in August.  I wouldn't have have wished Thing 2 sick to avoid it, though.

Status: offline 		I hate it when no one in my family seems to know how to load the dishwasher properly (stuff just thrown in haphazardly), so I have to unload it, muttering obscenities, and re-load it, in a way that makes it sound like I'm having a Jewish wedding in my kitchen, smashing things around, just waiting for someone to yell "Mazaltov!"

OMG.  Mom and I launched into a total RANT the second we hit the car.  But what can we do?  We have enough on our plates with the faux-grandchild and his yuppie parents.  (Dad is from Russia, and now has the little dude TERRIFIED of him.  Lovely.)

And the thing is? I don't like kids.  I am really really good with them, but I don't like them.  How come Little Me, an avowed Nonbreeder, is more child savvy than these marooooooons who are cranking them out?  I am certain that the years of teaching are not the only reason. 

GAH!!    /rant.


You can fucking sleep when ou are dead.. what the hell was she thinking?

When I had my son it was feedings every 2 hours. ( for a few months) and he was breast fed. 1 hour on each side. At night it was 2 hours of maybe sleep.... then 2 hours of being a zombie baby bottle. I had Zero help. His other half of genitic material ( he doesnt deserve the title father) was more work then help.

remind me again how and why I got knocked up this late in the game?

You need to clobber her over the head and tell her to feed that baby.

My um is *trained* to load the dish washer. I he loads it like crap he has to take out everything and wash it by hand. That taught him a respect for loading the dish washer.. tell ya what!

I keep telling her it's all her fault.. she was in charge of keeping an eye on the pussy to make sure nothing happened to it. *snickers*

Though the swollen boobs from hell, and the morning sickness is *entirely* his fault.

He was very appreciative of the swollen boobies this weekend. *sighs*

but the nausea kept me from a few things I wanted to do untill I could get it under control.

We made sure to do all the positions that will not be possible shortly. LOL

and ofcourse making them hand wash is a perfect soultion... that dish washer will be packed right quick and in a hurry if you do that a few times. LOL

Contrary to rumor we do get nice lightning storms around her.. once every few years.. I've had lightning strikes right next door when I was in the last apartment. Doncha love the huge crashing sound of the rain and thunder too? (says the guy who isn't in the middle of the storm)
