Login Problems for Last Week - 11/20/2005 10:52:45 AM

Status: offline 		Before last week, no problem. Since then, I have to login to the message boards every time I come here to post anything. Nothing sticks even if I delete cookies, save the cookies, ask the magic wand to remember for me, etc. I have tried both Opera and Firefox, and both have the same problem - the login does not stick no matter what I have tried. No problem with the other side of Collarme though - I never have to login to the "profile" side of things. So this is a heads up to the Admins.

As a passing suggestion, maybe there should be a "tech help" forum - then issues that have known solutions could be archived and problems that are pending would be known to the user base.

Status: offline 		Mine has always been like that. I have found that if I never go from one side to the other then it doesn't log me out.
I have the personals side in one link and another link to the forums and I just use one or the other depending on what side I want to visit.

gang-greetings,
i have the same problems.
i think it's a matter ,of time:
the longer you write, and ,stay ,on ;the more you have, to highlite ,and,copy edit your stuff ,so you don't loose it ,as i did loose hour long efforts ,with old collar replys,and ,just:re-login,if you're ,on any length ,of time....who knew?!

That was helpful information. I think it has to do with agreement of username and passwords between the two sides. Once I made them the same password by editing the "profile" side of things, it works fine. It seems odd to me that each side requires its own login info, instead of carrying that information across to all portions of the site. But whatever...

Status: offline 		Hmmmm, maybe I'll try that too. Although I use the bookmark tabs on Firefox so either side is always just a click away anyway

Status: offline 		I am able to login to CollarChat perfectly, but it stopped working on Collarme.COM

I tried the "forget password" option at the Collarme Login Screen, but it just emails me to use the same password that I am using.

My profile is still there on Colarme, but I just can't login.

I tried to e-mail Collarme for help, but each time the e-mail was returned to my yahoo account, since I clearly don't have a viable user in aministration to e-mail.

Suggestions?

Status: offline 		Can I be confused? I'm always logged in at the message board (must be a cookie thing), but sometimes it takes too long or gets stuck on log in at the main page.
