Good morning, All!

Just an update on Polly aka Dollbaby :)If you remember on Mon. I stated that Jilly & Jolly couldn't stand the newest addition to our household and she had to be isolated for alot of the time :( Last night I decided to try to introduce them to her one at a time. I started w/Jilly who was a bit confused and didn't know what to make of this itty bitty creature......is she a rodent..........she has pointy ears like me, she purrs like me, but she's WAYYYY smaller than me! So no hissing/or growling from Jilly, then I decided to go for the big guns......Jolly-nator. He sniffed, he hissed, he hissed he sniffed. He scared her into a corner but just hissed. All was well. We went back/forth for a bit, then I let her take them both on at the same time. Jilly decided to follow Jolly-nator and start hissing/growling too, but no touching. This AM was a total TRIP!!! I got home from boxing class at 6:30am and decided to just let her out of her room (Polly that is). She hid behind me as J & J approached, I moved aside/she took off into my room w/them hot on her tail. She hid under my bed, in my closet all the while they were right behind her. I picked her up & took her into the other room so she could catch her breath........what did she do? Ran RIGHT back into the room w/them to torment them some more! She is absolutely fearless! She LOVES to play w/Jolly-nator, despite his intimidating hissing/growling. She hid behind a tall, silk plant and started boxing w/him! Then, get this, she was lying down about 3 feet from where he was lying down, she got up, he got up and she jumped on him! He jumped back on her, then the both jumped into the air!!! I KNEW she could keep up w/them given half the chance! Who the heck needs tv w/these kittens around? Jilly runs from her when Polly runs at her (chicken)...:))I still put Polly in her room when I left for work (she was ticked off), but I'd rather just have her out when I'm home, gauge everybody's attitude's toward one another, then by next week all should be fine mixing it up while I'm at work :))) Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!

I really wish I could but w/the allergies I can't. If I end up in resp. arrest, who'll take care of them? Maybe if all the CM'ers pool together & buy me a house w/3 floors where I can escape the furbabies as needed, then it's a done deal :))

I knew it'd work out for the three of them! That's great news.......until it's 3 am and they are doing the dance across your bed....while you are in it! Trust me, that'll being you right up out of sleep, and you're moving before you're even awake!

Allergies suck......one thing to remember when you adopt out polly.....she's going to have to go to a house with another friendly cat, or she'll get totally depressed because she'll be all alone. I've seen it happen many times. Heck my 3 couldn't even stand to be in seperate carriers when I drove across country to move to AZ.....had all 3 of them crammed into one big cat carrier......and they were totally happy!

BTW...Jolly-nator???? *snort*

True about Polly being lonely. We adopt kittens out either in pairs or in a household w/another animal. We don't adopt them out alone. I don't think any Rescue Groups do that.
