Status: offline 		Perhaps your new rookie's first lesson should be to wear large fluffy slippers before s/he gets into your car for the first time.

You might want to have them laid out on her or his seat so that they are seen as soon as the door is opened. Give her or him the line that it is tradition to wear these the first night or some other B.S. like that.

But then again, there's probably some rule that dictates that proper uniform elements must be observed at all times.

Oh well... just a thought.

Now, if you were talking some of the county commissioners -- in particular, one who turned into a state assemblywoman... (I'm thinking fluffy pink slippers goes well with black socks, don't they?)

Oh Im sure I could get around the uniform problem but Im not sure I want a rookie in my car with fuzzy pink slippers on. Though I have to admit I did have a vision of a guy I know trying to chase a perp with them on and nearly had a coughing fit I was laughing so hard.
