Good morning ladies and gentlemens, and holly and potty,

My weekend was good right up until the point of 9pm last night when all of a sudden i realized it was sunday night and the kids were still playing..... SHIT, gave them ice cream for dinner and turned each of them around in the shower twice and tucked them into bed by 10pm, did i forget to say i also had to stop ten fights, sign my life away from their homework and school work, make sure the back packs were filled with school work instead of (girl) pretty shinny objects and (boy) dirt bugs and a science project im sure wasnt in the deal. o and a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich unwrap just in case his adventures next door included starvation...........all went well in the washer.....

dinner is a sore spot with me today...

I made a huge turkey dinner yesterday with all the fixins'. I fixed the LoudOne a plate, he looked at it and said "Hot dog, Mommy...pweeeeeze?"

So i make him a hot dog.

I spent about two hours cleaning up the kitchen (i am a slob of a cook)...putting all the leftovers in airtight containers...burping each one.

Before bed the LoudOne wanted his snack so i gave him a few vanilla wafers. He pushed them away and said "Turkey, pweeeeeze?"

Good morning, All!
I had a pretty good weekend, nice heavy rains on Sat while I was on duty, but nothing we couldn't handled. Rec'd an email from the Chief this AM thanking everyone for staffing all of the units during the storm. He said we were a "shining example". The only thing that shines on me Sat were my boots from the water!
The Fall/Winter bowling league started last night & I did pretty well the 1st 2 games, but then on my last game..................

Probably all the wine coolers I drank...........sheesh, I only had 3! (In 5 minutes)

Despite the fact I didn't get to bed until almost midnight, I still got up at 4am to do my 2 hrs of boxing so I am DONE! Just have to go get another tat today after work then I'm going home to NAP before bedtime!!!
