Status: offline 		i had a lifelong phobia caused by an incident with my Father, but when a former playmate decided to use the violet wand on me, i couldn't wait...it's definitely one way to conquer fears, i've found...just confront them head-on.....& if you can't be brave......

Status: offline 		I know that at some point, I'll feel a bit more daring and want to experiment. Just need to find someone who can help guide me through this fear plus part of my fear is I don't know enough about it yet, other than it's not exactly like the electricity which comes out of a wall socket.

Status: offline 		When I was undergoing physical therapy for my broken shoulder, the therapist used a TENS device. He set it at a minimum setting and showed me the knob to turn to increase the intensity, if I felt that I could withstand more. I usually cranked it up high enough so that it felt as if I had shorted out 110v AC with my hands.

Being shocked by 110v AC is no big deal for me. I don't make a habit of it but I don't really get too bothered if I run across it. Now, 40,000v from either a car's coil or a CRT television's high voltage circuit is literally a pain in the ass, as well as the extremities and everything else. I've felt both and I would NOT want to repeat that experience again.
