As for feather head perhaps he needs to be reminded whose da mommy. I had an African Gray I hand reared and he seemed to think he was king of the animals in the house and had pecking authority over every one including me... He changed his mind on that last one, one thanksgiving when I was prepping the turkey for the oven and he decided to explore the inside of the bird and the stuffing. I removed him and showed him the warming oven and then put the turkey in it as he watched from  my shoulder.. a couple of clucks and a whistle of alarm and he stayed out of my way the rest of the day and showed me more respect afterward for some reason.

Avalon could recite entire phone calls and theme songs from TV shows, but refused to learn to say: "Tiny Drumsticks" or "Microwave Me" for some reason. I miss dat boid.

I miss my Max too.... (Blue Front Amazon) he loved MTV, esp Prince ( It was the late 80's ) he loved to dance, to eat icecream.. and to get in the shower with me.

He had everyone but me in that house aware of who the boss was. He even once climbed down from his huge cage I had, walked backwords so no one would know where he was going... ( that was his fave trick) and yanked a hunk of fur from my Pomerianians tummy, yelled at him "I'm the boss" and walked back up to his cage laughing his ass off.

My mum would play spank me, and he would fly off of the cage saying "My Dawn! You leave her alone! I will bite you!" And he would attack her. *chuckles* He also would call my name and Ma-ma if I left the room with out him for too long. I miss him so much.

I hate it when... the kitty owners (and other pet owners too) of the world will not be able to torture this imbecile in the same fashion he apparently hurt this animal. If only "an eye for an eye" could be used as literal punishment.

Status: offline 		i didn't follow the link...one of the things that i avoid having in my head are images of abused animals & children...i know it exists & i do what i can to stop it...i just can't read about it or see pics of it.....

& i hate that i was so sleep-deprived that i overslept & was 2 hours late to orientation today...i also hate that my blood pressure has taken this moment in my life to suddenly skyrocket...& i really really hate that i told him to let me go again.....

Jail time is sadly unlikely and he will receive a fine, probation  and anger management classes, after all no matter how heinous it was only a cat in the eyes of the law. Sadly no matter how much we love our furry friends and consider them family, the law considers them property. Michael Vicks received a 23 month sentence and forfeiture of the property in a case that involved over 70 dogs or approximately 9 days per animal involved and still alive. Petcka would recieve more time if he had hit his girlfriend or broken things in her house than he will most likely for animal cruelty NOT for killing her pet. There is actually no law against killing an animal (thus we can take our friends to the vet when life becomes too painful for them) and if he had just (I don't mean to sound blunt but there is no other way) snapped the cats neck or taken it to put it to sleep there would have been no case. It was because he stomped and kicked the cat to death that charges for animal cruelty were possible.

The scary part? His girlfriend would have probably been next.

Status: offline 		It's been said that alcohol can reveal one's true nature. Obviously this bastard won't get very long in jail, they never do. Hopefully there will be some mandatory rehabilitation and an order preventing him near pets...maybe women and children too, and me..

Aww, i know what that's like, angels.  *hugs*  i woke up with a head cold/scratchy throat this morning.  Now it's just turned into the sniffles.  Thank goodness for Cold Eaze, lol.
