I don't really follow football, but I get excited if the Skins get anywhere near the Superbowl.

Status: offline 		Well dc - Canadian Football is different from American football.In the CFL we have a bigger field and one less down to accomplish our first down.  But fortunately, our boys wear the same tight fitting pants <WEG>

Status: offline 		Our Rider fans are probably the best in the country - doesn't matter what field we are playing at if you look in the stands you will always see rows and rows of green and white.  Some of the more "dedicated" (read drunken) fans carve out watermelons and use them as  helmuts.  Last weekend they went even further and used the cut out parts as shoulder pads!

The strangest sports ritual I've heard of it that Detroit hockey fans throw octopi onto the ice. Heaven only knows why.
