dresser sex. sex GENERALLY implies 2 people. *checks house* just me. only me. sigh, still just me

med fine sandpaper, progressing to sandpaper - bring it back as much as i want, just do it evenly

linseed oil. lots of it. i got the raw stuff, from what i understand, that just means that it takes longer to dry.

finding the same era handles? buckleys to none
finding more hinges and latches? moderately more successful
for both, haunt salvage places.

i can spend a fortune restoring it or i can restore it back to beauty and not worry so much about authentic bakelite handles. it will be useful and beautiful; at this point original handles not such a big deal (i'm anxious to get it in use)
