Status: offline 		I hate it when my flight gets to Atlanta 50 minutes before my connecting flight is set to leave and I still miss my connection because I am stuck on the damn tarmac the entire time due to heavy fog! I also hate that I then had to fly standby on the next flight which left 2 hours later and wait and hope to see if me and my bag would make it to San Antonio at the same time! (On the plus side I love that we both did!)

I hate that I am missing my honey more than ever.

I hate that I still have to go to work tonight.

I am tempted to use one of my owwie patches it is so damn bad.

NOT only do I now have a raging headache... but we didnt have enough strips to finish his waxing and he is going to have to finish up the removal process another way. bah

Yep you will have to take them out, but you can put in acrylic ones and they won't show up. (Needle nose pliers will open them just enough to drop the ball without warping the rings UNLESS you are wearing 00's) Here's a trick..go to the pharmacy and get a topical lidocaine gel..Sunburn aloes with lido is good... coat your breasts with it as thick as you can then cover with plastic wrap to let it set. Wash off before the appointment, the numbing will stay through the appointment about 2x's as long as you had it on. OR...you can just enjoy it like I do..bitch and grin

Status: offline 		Guys, i just found out some devastating news. My mother has been to specialist. She has lost her voice since the summer. The throat doctor said its her vocal chords. But my sister said she saw deterioration and slurred speech. She thought neurological. My mom has been choking and unable to catch her breath. She went to her neurologist who said come back in 4 months. My sister said she needed a second opinion. So after seeing a throat doctor my sister got her. She was told it was neurological. My sister found a specialist. A neurologist who was recommended from the parkinsons foundation. So, mom saw him today and will see him again on tuesday for another test and be given the diagnosis. She has no idea what is wrong and neither does my father.

My mother will be diagnosed with ALS. its the worse kind. It hasnt affected her muscles and has gone straight to the throat so she can get pnemonia, stop breathing and speaking . My father is going to lose it. They have been married 48 years. We will be lucky if she makes it 2 years. She is still active and driving and working, She is 68 years young. We will be meeting later on tuesday after she recieves the news. I needed to unload this here. We are in the middle of family Bat mitsvah celebrations. none of the family knows nor should they during this joyous occasion. So my sisters and I are the only ones who know and we need to keep a brave face.

But this is devastating. i love my mommy.

GT, they really aren't all that bad.  I had one done when I was 30 because my sister was just diagnosed with breast cancer and I was having pain in mine, so they wanted to see if anything was wrong.  At 30, the bewbage is very dense and they had lotsa squishing to do, but, honestly, I couldn't figure out what was so dreadfully bad about it.  It really didn't hurt like everyone puts it out there.   *rolls eyes*

Status: offline 		the secret to getting a mammogram is not looking down at what the 2 glass plates are doing...you see yourself looking quite odd and think "that must hurt".  at least that is what i figured out for myself.  it was the same when i had babies, they put those big mirrors up so i could see...well hell, seeing it made it hurt worse so i opt not to see the "action', so to speak.
