Red.... big warm hugs to you.... it sounds like you were well overdue to have a meltdown, you have so many things going on in your life and are the carer for so many people. One question .... who cares for you?

..... and you do deserve their forgiveness. It sounds like they recognise that you were overwhelmed and had to vent. I am pretty sure that one of your wonderful cuddles will have the things and your dad comforted again. ....ok just read about the talk you had with your dad...he sounds like an amazing gentleman, though that doesn't surprise me given that he has raised you.

Lushy my thoughts continue to be with your mum, you and your family. I can't imagine how hard a time this is for all of you. The not knowing is so difficult.

Stella...I read another post you made on a thread in reply to one of the people who is quite possible brain-cell challenged and it moved me to tears. Please please please don't ever let the idiots in the world and on here (and there are a few) drive you away as there are so many more people here who love you and love reading what you say. Your posts make me laugh, cry and think and I am sure I am not alone in saying that my world is brighter for having you here.

I hate it when my two friends from different sides of the world are now sad and missing each other and unable to figure out if they will ever see each other again.

personally, i'd have the spare batteries for the insulin pump in a box clearly marked, and an explanation to the other members of your household that if they even think about taking the batteries... not even touch them.... SERIOUS repercussions will ensue. I'd also keep said batteries in your bedroom.

Were you watching on the hidden camera? That's where I ended up finding one! And it was dead, but I recharged it & got her pump up & running again in no time.

I hate it when the person in front me in line feels their life is so much more important than anyone and most certainly the cashier ... and they attempt to degrade the cashier who is doing their job while feeling as if they uplifted themselves..when in reality all they have done is shown what an inconciderate @ss they are .
