Just let it harden then gently/slowly peel it off, hopefully pulling the splinter out. It works best with one that isn't deeply embedded. For those I soak in hot water, dry the skin then apply the glue.
I've always used white glue like Elmers.

If all else fails its good for a few minutes cheap entertainment.

I hate it when I want to go to sleep and I have to stay up to feed the feral kittehs....or else just go to sleep for a few hours and then get up and feed them.

Another sleeping issue to add to the list here, I hate that my insomnia seems to have kicked back up causing a domino effect on my alphabet soup list of crap wrong with me.

I hate it when I am sleeping peacefully and all of a sudden I wake up, heart racing, palms sweating, like some kinda big scary monster has been chasing me. I would say it was just a bad dream, but I wasnt even dreaming at that point of the night...

I hate it that my fun night for last night was ruined by the loss of my purse. I never left the car and have no idea what happened to the clutch purse. It either fell out as I was getting in to the car or got kicked out when I was getting my son out of the back seat. We went back to the house looking for it on the street and drove back to Wardens and searched the parking lot and his car. Its a complete mystery what happened to it. I did take it with and we ended up never getting a bite to eat, never seeing my friends band and not going to the dungeon club. So we basically droped my son home and drove back to Wardens. I was in a panic about it. So now I had to cancel my debit card, have to get a new drivers license and other important cards.

At least Warden did all he could to keep me calm, is giving me some money and we are driving back downtown to his office where he has a bunch of blackberrys and he will give me one(works with my t-mobile)

Between that, my unemployment and the summons to appear in court or be declared defaulting on a loan(which will happen as I dont have the 188. dollars to give to file an appearance)I'M A HOT MESS!!!

I think sometimes that the really intense ones are us tapping into their dreams. Ok, that sounds kinda weird. But I used to have dreams about a patient who was dying at a hospital I worked in. I had had extremely little contact with him. But I would have these very intense dreams that he & I were very much in love. We would go out on dates, we travelled, we kissed & held each other, talked, made plans for the future, everything that you do with someone when you're in love. I hated the dreams because as soon as I woke up & realized it had only been a dream, I would cry from the loss of that kind of love. When he died, the dreams stopped.

When I have dreams like yours, I know in my head that they're not prescient, but I always have to touch the person in some way to reassure my heart.

I hate that the hotel is REALLLY quiet today. 54 rooms total, only 6 of which are occupied, and we have no reservations to come in. BORED bored BORED.
