Do you have great Thanksgiving plans?  I'm going to my nephew's parents-in-law's for dinner & taking Nellie's salad, if I ever get it made.

Status: offline 		Wow!!!  Hippo Birdie two Ewes!!!!!  if 45 is middle aged, then I guess 62 must be the middle of middle age, right??

Nellie's Salad involves 2 layers of Jell-o with a layer of cream cheese/crushed pineapple/mini-marshmallows/whipping cream in the middle.  For Thanksgiving we usually use some combo of red, orange & yellow for the fall.  For Christmas, we use red & green.

Nellie was our mother's kinda foster sister back in the 1920's, so just like family to us.  One time my sister said she didn't know how to answer one of her um's when he asked how we were related to Nellie.  I said, "We're related by love, of course!!"

Status: offline 		YAY, DC!!!  I do so loooooove birthdays!  Anybody's, including mine.  I have a male offspring that I didn't raise & when I met him again in his early 20's I found out that they had never celebrated his birthday so he was uncomfortable with the big celebration & party that I had for him.  It wasn't a lot of people, cuz fun doesn't have to be a lot of people, it can just be ME!!!

Now that I'm 62(!!!!!), I celebrate every birthday even more, since I'm sooo impressed that I'm still breathing in & out!!!

Now, go have more fun, DC!!!!!
