Status: offline 		I hate that I just went to the linen closet to get out the flannel sheets and there are no bottom sheets. I had full sets last year, during the summer the bottom sheets have all disappeared. If I find out what happened to them, somebody will be in big trouble.

Status: offline 		i hate when i'm cleaning the cat box and when pouring in the new litter i take a deep breath and inhale a huge amount of lemon grass scented "dust".  geesh, i'll never get it out of my shnozz, good thing i like the scent of lemon grass.

Status: offline 		Declawing.... It was the requirement for me being allowed to bring him in.   Got a great vet and staff but I'm still worried. (They're a cat specialist hospital.Yes, I spoil my furbaby and use only the best doc for him.)

ETA - Punky is already snipped and chipped so at some point we think he was at the Humane Society. They're transferring his chip info over to me.

I hate it when I wake uip on the first of 5 days of work with a cough & sniffles!!  Gotta go to PT this am too.  All I wanna do is crawl back in bed with some Nyquil & sleep till it's over.  But I don't even know how to call in sick to this job yet.  Bleh!!

I hate when folks declaw cats too, Lin. 

I hate when I have to get up to pee during the night only to find out my alarm will be going off in 20 minutes.

What Blushy said...  I lost a cat to neighborhood dogs when he got out...he was declawed

Status: offline 		Poor Punky!!  He is Politenessman, too, he deserves to keep his toeses.     The only cat EVAR in my experience to benefit from declawing was the late lamented Kramer.  He would DIG his claws in as a sign of kittty lurrrrrrrrrrve, and if you figured out the magical method of paw control, he would *wrap* his toes around and dig in from there.  SO much relief for all when he got snipped.

Status: offline 		  Well, Punky-love has actually destroyed the comfy chair that now needs re-upholstering. He's a lovey but likes his claws a little too much. He's also snagged the carpet in a number of places with his favourite game of  "snag and drag" himself around the carpet. It's funny to watch but not fun for the carpet.

And this saves him from the shelter. Because he's older (3-5 years old) the odds of him being adopted were pretty slim. So we lucked out, I think.... A lovebug and wonderful kitteh.

Yes, I am insisting that any cat in my house be declawed.  The reason for this is because I have to consider the safety of my 4 year old um during visitation.  My um's safety and my ability to have visitation outweighs anything else, period.  Call it a non-negotiable.

I told Rain upfront it was a requirement so that she could make an informed decision whether or not to take Pumpkin in.

I'm sure people will still post their displeasure, and that's fine.  Their opinion is valid, it just doesn't have any impact on the running of my household, which is my responsibility and prerogative.
