Aw man I took my sleeping pills over an hour ago and I'm not asleep. I'm exhausted but can't sleep.

I really fukkin hate it when friends of mine have their homes broken into and they cant feel safe at night. It just really bothers me.

I hate that they have to try and get that feeling back Kyttyn, but love that you have such strong empathy for them. If they can have one where they are..maybe they should get a Dog. Most who break into homes avoid those with dogs as they never know if the dog is a biter. They look for homes with no alarm, no dogs and most often no one home.

I hate that once again Master is flying, this time to MD with 150 lbs of equipment and 5 lbs of clothing we squeezed in. I hate that his back was already strained on the last trip and this load is not going to help any.

Poen, she is going to get surveillance equipment. The only thing they broke into was this storage area, but as she said "What are they gonna steal, cobwebs?" Atleast she has a bright outlook. I just hate that it happened to such a nice person, and even worse, it happened while she was out grocery shopping, and the Um was home. They have broken into her place twice this week. Same people. I just hope she catches them so they can rot in jail!

That is not good Kyttyn...(obvious statement I know) but she may need to look at her neighbors kids..if hers is the only place targeted, they are focused on her. Surveillance equipment might help...but only after the fact. She needs to look at more proactive methods to return to a feeling of safety. Perhaps an alarm company? Many of them are very inexpensive monthly for peace of mind. ADT is 99$ install and around 25$ a month.

I hate it when Fox has to go to campus for one exam all day, and its the hardest one he will have. We are going to go shopping when he gets back home, but who knows when he will get out of the test.

I believe it was after my 4th breakin at the new place in a better neighborhood with an alarm system that the insurance agent told me that the signs that warn others that their property is alarmed only tell the pros which system they have to circumvent. They broke into that place twice. The 2nd time was about 5 minutes after I had left one day, which meant that they were watching me. By the time the alarmn company tried to get hold of me & called the police & the police responded, the burglars were long gone. I've never had an alarm system since.

Nothing stops a Pro from getting in the trick is Not to let them KNOW what system is in place..hide the sign.. but this is why I have my fur-son. He doesn't bark or growl at the door, he just looks out the window at you and smiles. Since he already has a rep in the neighborhood for being able to clear my fence in a single bound and for chewing up pit bulls that have been trained to fight and be aggressive...they don't bother my house. We have a few other measures in place as well..front door steel, windows and patio door high impact armor glass..keep hitting them with a crowbar and you only exhaust yourself and good locks. They seem to be a tad nervous about the woman who practices with swords at least 2x a week as well.. don't know why.
