Hugs you.  I am sick today, too, and missing out on the family christmas fun with mom, brothers & sisters, and nieces & nephews.  Had my own little melt down about that yesterday (plus I'm tired of hobbling around with these injured ankles), having missed my birthday and Thanksgiving because of my accident, too.  I'm going to party extra hard during NEXT year's holidays!!

But...I have lots of food in my home, movies to watch, books to read, naps to take and a kitty to snuggle.  Make the best of it if you can, Kali, and I sure hope you feel better!!

Hugs to everyone who's sick and not being able to get out visiting on this day.

I'm quite annoyed and a bit disappointed that I tried calling Rain and Lumus to wish them a Merry Xmas and they aren't home......  Guess I'll try later this evening.

i hate that this new medication that i started this morning has my mind going at normal rate (albeit somewhat high for 'normal' people) but my body is in no position to act on most of my thoughts...

i hate that  He is so worried about me.

Status: offline 		i hate that when my neice called me a little while ago she said, "my mom told me to call you and tell you i miss you", and i knew what she meant...She had told her mom how much she misses me and my sister told her to call me and tell me that. i hate even  more that a few minutes ago, my sister called and told me she didn't know who was having a harder time "Kali" or the kids.... She also told me i needed to tell Him that i need to be there next year...i am thinking next year Christmas is on Friday so perhaps we can spend Christmas eve with his family and Christmas day with the kids... i know that'll put a lot of stress on us, driving each way three hours.........but, my heart is really hurting right now.

I stuck it out.  I was too curious as to "who dun it." But Al Pacino was a sloppy mess in this movie. Disappointing.

I hate that the ex completely blew the kids off today.  He didn't get them a present and so somehow he felt it better to just avoid them altogether, AFTER telling me he would see them.

I hate it that my own family sucks rocks and I should have gone up to Sacramento to see my friends for Christmas instead.  At least those people wanted me around.

Status: offline 		I hate the fact that I found out earlier today that a friend and former lover past away tuesday morning from a massive stroke. He was only 44. The sad part is in the past year or so, we rebuilt the friendship and he had invited me over several times for coffee and I had kept thinking I'll go this weekend or I'll go next week and I never did. Right now I feel.....blah.

If you don't mind My saying so.  Out of the blue, I got a call from a friend just last week.  It seems something similar happened.  A friend from years back had passed away.  It had prompted him to contact people in his life who were important to him to let them know that he cared about them.

So, My thought to you is, why not?  Tomorrow, get up and reach out to folks.
