I love that I'm trading Zoe in for a new foster who really needs an escape from the kennel to a home for a little while. This will be done on Sun.

Why are you still home?????? I'd have thought you were at the airport as soon as you opened your big, beautiful brown eyes!!!!

Btw, thank you for the hug :))) Zoe needs to find her forever home & she won't find it sitting at my place. She doesn't "show well" at the adoptions because of her skittishness so they're taking her to the cattery w/the hopes that folks will come by to see her.

Ya, Potty is "speshul" all right..... She rode the short bus in school.

...

(And I agree, painful as it is, that she is wonderful and incredible for being a foster mommy. It's something I couldn't do because I wouldn't want to give any of the fosters up!)

Gross....Clumsy was nice to me.....

Actually my new foster has an application in on her but her potential owner just had major surgery & will have to wait about a month to adopt her. It's a juggling act, the foster home that has her now is going to take another foster who's FIV positive & can't be around other cats so the group asked if I'd relinquish custody of Zoe & take in Chloe (not too confusing, eh) since I can't take the FIV cat 'cause of J&J. Poor Chloe can't go to the cattery because she gets so depressed she won't eat & they have to hook her up to a feeding tube so of course she can come to my place. The Jolly-nator will surface for about a week, Jilly will mostly run/hide then all will be friends

Best I do is western on the slowest horse in the barn.

Thr trouble is that Holly played with mud pies when she was younger and thought they tasted incredible and never wanted to learn to make anything else.

Snicker..Rain once took a friend horseback riding in Brooklyn...he did pretty good stayed on the horse..even when it sat down then laid down and rolled over on him to scratch it's back. Advice to VP..if the horse starts to sit..GET OFF!!!!

Ok...that does it..Holly you are coming down to Florida and Gwyn adn I are teaching you to Cook SAFELY..Jim will be happy to let you come since you will come back with new skills.

Ya, I wonder if holly's attempted meatloaf lately...... She could use that to insulate her pipes.

And yes, sidesaddle, Celeste. Not very good yet but I'll get there. It's something I always wanted to do. I was about to buy a horse when I met Lumus and Lumus won. I'll get one yet again though.

Yep, good advice. An instructor once taught me how to kick out of the stirrups and get the hell OFF if the horse went down, one way or the other. And I do tend to stay on, but like anyone who rides regularly, I've had my share of coming off. Not always of my own accord.

(Hence some of my back problems. And bad knees. sigh.)
