Hell out of all of us there were only 3 "skinny" chickies.

We are the average size for the American female.

I think at this point with all of the support we have on the boards.. and of other Fab and Phat gals on here if anyone complains about their weight they are just looking for a poor me helping of admiration.

We are women. Tough, resilent, soft, sensual, smart, and just damn amazing. Our dress size has not a damn thing to do with any of that.

Some of us yourself included Kali, are blessed enough to have people who love us as we are. Be it fat, thin, young or old.

I hate it when this migraine I have had all day does not go away with a bit of sleep.

I hate it when the OMG contractions start over at 3am...

I hate it when I force myself to be up and walking durring said contractions because it is what I would do to a patient of mine. ( all comming back on me now!)

I do love it that my poor slightly better but still sick honey is up with me.. and making a Texas Tornado Bread pudding I am craving. I love her so much.

I hate it that it feels like my spine is being ripped out of my ass.

I hate that I don't have the recipe for Gwyn's Texas Tornado bread pudding. (hint hint)

i hate it when i come back and read and Ya'll have responded to me and make me cry.... {Actually i luvs Ya'll very much, and am sooo grateful for each on of You}

i do seriously hate it when last night's headache turned into a migraine of mass destruction.... i hate it that at one point i was sitting on the bed sobbing because i could not take the pain. i hate it even more that amidst that high intensity of pain, i realized i was freaking Him out and began apologizing....which did NOT go over well..... i hate it that i was so scared and in so much pain last night. i hate that was the worst migraine i've had in years......

i hate when the Tickey Kitty decides to snuggle with me, waking me up to pet Him, and i realized it was only 4am.

I hate it when the Uncle is so nervous this morning that he's never going to be ready on time because he just keeps talking!!!!! I hate it that there's only one bathroom here & he's showering in it. I hate that there's no outhouse!

thing is, ladies, what happens if we're voluptuous, intelligent, witty but don't feel you're uber sexy and confident.

sad, i know, that so many of us feel our self worth as a woman is tied up in whether a man finds us sexy, and that will create the confidence.

some of us, though, have had our psyches worked over well and are really slow to believe we can be sexy.

*shrugs* it's life. we take it, and make lemonade out of it. personally, my lemonade still needs more sugar to get rid of the sour tartness

LOL Most of us would have been pitied for being too thin during the era of Rubens, Da Vinci and Michelangelo. Some would have been just right. I blame Madison Avenue, and Hollywood for this recent spate of must be emaciated, haven't seen a potato in 6 years look that took over in the 20's and has wended it's way through the "Heroin Look" to now. We are losing our Daughters and our Son's to Anorexia, Bulimia and Steroids as they try to reach an ideal that is unhealthy for their minds and bodies to acheive. While at the same time we have children who are over weight, we have others who are killing themselves to weigh even less or bulk up more.

Healthy food, healthy exercise and your body will find it's OWN ideal weight despite what a Doctors chart says you should weigh, YOUR body knows best. Celebrate that knowledge it contains. Enjoy yourself, revel in the beauty that is you and the right person is going to SEE you and whatever weight you are isn't going to matter. They will love the person...the WHOLE Person, not just the shell.

There are some people that nothing and nobody will ever be perfect to them. Sorry, but it's not my job to make THEM happy, be it a parent, a significant other, or whoever. It IS my job to make ME happy, and if anybody wants to join me for life's ride, they are more than welcome, otherwise, they can pretty much fuck off, IMO.

I agree w/you, PP. I started OUT trying to please someone else w/exercising & changing my eating habits. Now I'm doing it for me & it feels GREAT!!!

Though I must admit to hitting the gym extra hard now in anticipation for April. Looks like I still care about how others view my body.

you're beautiful no matter how thick or thin, toned or flabby you are.

No matter what size I am, I will still have stretch marks, surgical scars, cellulite, and wrinkles. Those are the roadways on my body's map. And each of those "flaws" represent some chapter in my life's story, and believe it or not, I am proud of each of them.

The first time Warden had carnal knowledge of me i mentioned being self conscious of my hanging c-section belly and stretch marks. He said, "I figure you earned that" Thats what sealed the deal with my heart.

I think that as long as you exercise, eat sensibly and maintain a healthly lifestyle, you are doing the best you can with what you have. But, yeah, I'd love to be a size 10 again....
