I think sleep is out of the question at this point. I have to leave for the airport in 3 hours. I'll try to sleep on the plane from Dallas to Pittsburgh.

am still drunk from last night. I hate that my life is not as together as I would like. But I love that I have a place to come and say all this.

Status: offline 		I really dislike that this thread is so much longer than when I read it last night however I am glad that it means that people have somewhere to vent and seek support.

I am incredibly sad that a family friend passed away yesterday.  Her family and mine have been friends for over 50 years.  She knew my parents before they got married, her and her sister came up with my name, her daughter and I are only two months apart in age.  I have a lifetime of treasured precious memories of this wonderful woman and her family who befriended my mum who was a young nursing student in a strange country.  They even kept the letters I used to write to them when I was little. 

I have been thinking about this special connection I have had with all of this family and why it is so different to the relationship I have with many relatives and it is that their love for all of us really was/is unconditional. I am so thankful to have had this family with me for my entire life but damn it will hurt to say goodbye to another wonderful link in the chain.

Thank you, I am not sure what Mimosa is though. I don't normally drink, especially having a liver disease and all..
 
I'm not sure if I can hear that song without the same memory. Normally it would have been a great memory, but not now..
 
However, I have fond memoriess of Sir Mix-a-Lot lol

I hate that Wanders has lost such a special person, but I'm glad she has the memories and life influences of having known this amazing and loving woman.
