It was much the same way with my mother.

After years (7) of being so ill, us praying, Reiki, and you name it she was ready to "go home" as she put it.

She asked for me to understand, and to not be sad, but happy she was going peacefully, and happily to Father.

It killed me, and for a long time I simply could not accept that she was gone. But once I pulled back from my own needs, and feelings about it I saw just how peaceful, and happy she had been in her final days. She was so happy for it all to be over with. All of the pain, and fear was just gone. The strong, vibrant woman I grew up with was not quite the same... but I saw her in such a different light. She was for once at ease and peaceful. She went to Father with a full heart, and an eased mind. In all of the ways I have seen people pass hers was the most peaceful. She knew... and she was ready.

I wish we could all be so blessed in our passing.

*hugs to all who has lost a loved one, or who has a sick loved one, or personal illness*

i also hate that literally sleeping on this book has not gotten me as prepared as i need to be for this exam.

I use them when I vaca or travel.

I got a fab room with kitchen, dining room and it was nice durring the Daytona 400 for super duper cheap.

I was amazed when I got there.

I could have brought a buncha people with me with the size of the room.

Ok, Tulip.  I had successfully kept from crying all day even though I've felt like it since last night.  This made me cry.  Amd I'm sitting in the hospital barfeteria, crying in public, darn you anyway!!  Now I have to stop crying to go upstairs to the Uncle's room, so no more of this, ok????

Btw, you said everything I've been thinking, but so much better than I could have.  I adore you!!

Status: offline 		i hate it when i am on the edge of having a really good cry and then something like this thread gives me the happy weepies.  now i've got to work on getting those icky weepies out again.  thanks you guys, lol!!!
i HATE that i feel like such a bad mom right now.  my #3 son is going into residential treatment on monday for his issues.  i feel like i failed him, even though all i ever did was try to help him.  his birth mom should suffer all the hurt and emotional upset she caused all her children, she lost every one of them to adoption because of her drug addiction.   she has seven children  we're aware of who are trying to find their way in this world with bodies and minds affected by her drug addiction.  i hope karma gives her what she's earned someday. 
sorry, guess i'm just feeling a bit raw tonight.  i can't even hug him and tell him i love him because he won't even let me near him, he went to stay with my ex until monday.
