Last month there was one that burned 5000 acres north of town, yesterday and today we have the Rhodes fire, another one up North East of town, actually about a mile outside of the city limits, a fire down near Coleman, and a number of smaller fires that made some news but were put out by ranchers around here.
Not to mention for the last 3 days we have had record highs, in the 90's.....
