It is amazing that when you do not have the little traitor voice in the back of your head yammering, "Don't f*** up, don't f*** up, don't f*** up" or "What if I f*** up, what if I f*** up, what if I f*** up," how much easier it is to pay attention to what you are doing and not f*** up in the first place.  LOL

I know there was more than once when I was single that I was very thankful that something I cooked was only going to be eaten by me.  For example, my first time making sausage gravey by myself.  I will just leave it at, it did not work so well.  I did, however, LEARN from the experience, and now. . . I get LOADS of compliments when I make it.

Someone brought this girl some fresh caught trout.  Sooooo for lunch today Bounty's is having fish.

Whole trout (cleaned) with head and fins intact baked in foil with a jalapeno-mango salsa.
Or
Sole fillets (store bought) fried in a panko crumb crust - seasoned with chili powder and pepper.
Or
Mrs Paul's frozen crispy battered fish fillets.

To go with the fish entree your choice of potato-
Twice baked potato stuffed with broccoli, onion and red bell pepper.
Or
Instant Mashed potatoes
Or
Pan fried potatoes (with skin on)

Well, HFM, VP usually leaves a pitcher of some sort of protein shake every day.  So that's what's shakin'.

i'm trying to think up a menu for tonight.  Bounty's had fish for lunch. (some of the fish still had its head.)  i wonder if the folks would go for stir fry?

hmmmmm fluffy stir fry sounds good

Welcome Asher....you can help make the biscuit roll-up things.  Unless of course, you want to step outside and grill some hamburgers.

As we get older it is easy to overdo the physical things.  Rest your ankle.  If you need a refill on the ice pack let me know.

OK, Boss, blackberry cobbler with dumplings and COLD milk coming right up.

Just set the empty dishes outside the door and i will wash them and put them up.

I always wanted to learn how to break a horse.
When I was living in MT I learned a lot, but never was on a horse ranch, so no breaking

Miss H!!!
Thanks for letting me know... Now of course I should tell you that today we learned how to give a bath... a WHOLE bath, and let's see... well I think that is all I can think of with you Miss H.  Later we will learn manicures and such.   But for NOW how bout a bath you pretty lady?  Bubbles, candles, the whole nine yards.

I'm actually quite good at it.  And I CAN be well behaved if I HAVE TO be.

Anyway, hope all is going well with you and the family.

Mr. Bounty, here's what's been on my mind lately.  What is the line between supporting someone and making them dependent.  I don't know that there is a SPECIFIC right or wrong answer, but it is what I've been thinking on.

Have a great day... and we got potato soup.  Master made it.  He's a GREAT cook.

night folks
