Christine, I had settled into my life and was expecting to be single for the rest of my life. I was happy. Then I met Lumus and my whole life has changed incredibly. So, in the words from Galaxy Quest - "Never give up.... And never surrender!"



I so have to agree with these posts. I had not only resigned my self to single, but resigned myself to being a recluse with never having a life.   But damn I sure got gobsmacked that wasnt the case coming down for the wedding....Never never in my wildest dreams did I think I would feel easy and not cling to a safe spot and these two just have a knack of taking my worse problems and are reconditioning me.  I dont even see the same me from just 5 weeks ago.  I feel like the fun joking person I used to do, with the perk of having also the lifestyle on top.  I spent most of my time sitting on the sidelines and not really participating much due to such trust issues.  The two I would trust them with anything, they seem to read me better than myself.

Status: offline 		I really fucking hate it when after 3 days of phone calls telling me I had a job & where to be & when & getting my life in order to leave & finding a home for the dog & the cat, I get a call from some asshole who's decided that re-hiring me would be against company policy, no debate, no appeal, decision made, maybe we'll hire you later if freight picks up in a few months.  Yeah, right!!  And you will somehow divine which street corner I will be begging on & send someone to hire me?????

Just FUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hate what's going on right now, but, omg, I am so incredibly touched by everyone who has posted here and written to me on the other side to offer an ear and a shoulder and friendship and support....

I am really overwhelmed. I am so grateful to everyone here.

But, knowing me, I have done my screaming and crying and now I will just get on with it and do what I have to do. And, frankly, I will get uncomfortable if this remains a topic of discussion. So, since I think everyone else is really more interesting than I am, lets get back to you...

Linea, that really sucks. I hate when people think it's ok to play with people that way. And they do it without a consideration at all!

Christine, how could you possibly make such a big decision without some vacillation? That would be foolhardy.

Wanders, I would be thrilled if I get a real life hug and an earful of Auzzie accent.

Status: offline 		Linnaea, you have more restraint than i do, i'd still be too damned angry to type, i'd be bouncing off the walls!  that's just plain dirty pool, i hope they get what's coming to them for pulling that crap, karma can be a bitch!  i hope the uncle's doing better.  maybe this happening right now is a bad thing for you, but maybe it works out better in the big picture.

i hate it that i get a phone call from my mom first thing this morning, telling me to be careful when i go out today.  a man killed his bride of 4 days, three children, her sister and shot a 4th child who is hospitalized.  happened just a couple blocks from here last night and the bastard who did it is still on the loose.  we've had helicoptors overhead alot today, the whole neighborhood feels like it's on lockdown.   two of the children killed were just toddlers, twin boys.  i hate it that people do things like this to innocent little people.
