Kali..I am so sorry that you have so much to hate this morning, and at least one of them I can commiserate with fully. I hate diabetes and what it is doing to me, my body and currently my mood. Sometimes it seems like no matter what I do, this blasted disease is going to win. Please do not lose hope or your determination in battling it. You can eat, though it is a very thin tightrope we walk in doing so. Dreamfields Pasta has been my savior along with small portions, high protein, splenda (allergic to other sweeteners) and my insulin pump. All together they have lowered my A1C's, my daily BG's and cravings for sugar, but I learned the hard way that just not eating was a quick way to sabotage it all, since my stupid liver decides the BG's are too low when I don't eat and dumps enough stored glucose to Raise them to dangerous levels. I say stupid because not only does it sabotage my efforts, but it puts a nasty strain on itself doing so, so often and can damage itself as well. Hang in there..it can be done. We can win against this disease. poenkitten (currently hating Doctors who don't call back with test results leaving her in the dark and still worried)
