i know Sweetie. I have seen a few and it never fails to leave you shaking.

But, trust me on this...it will ease. The dreams are just your subconscious way of trying to deal with the aftermath...they are actually very healthy at this point.

Yeah, I know...,.  I just wish the dreams didnt do the "what if" thing...  the dreams have me NOT being able to stop..and hearing the double thump as I go over him.

Status: offline 		Have you ever tried concious dreaming? There are some repeat dreams that I've managed to alter so they aren't so bad anymore.

Bad dreams suck. Especially when you can't shake the feeling off even after waking up.

I'm sure that I'll be fine soon... it's just too fresh right now.  As Sage said, it was like a movie... I imagine that thats how my brain will finally sort it... (if that makes any sense...)

Status: offline 		...this morning I woke up and an imaginary fat spider was running off my chest running underneath my bedside table  thought I am off those dreams now...hadn't had any of those in the last 2.5 years and during that time it were cockroaches after I moved from an infested place...and in the past they were never that close on my body...thank goodness I know that there somehow my mind is playing up and didn't freak too much out about, but it just annoys me when it comes back hunting me at times *sigh* Overall I managed to get rid of those since I managed to overcome my past but I don't quite get it why they come back at times...can only assume that it hits me in moments when I am a bit weaker or so...damn nightmares which aren't really one as by then my eyes are already open again...phew...

Hugs to GT...hope you get that off soon...I was sometimes wondering if it had an affect on the driver who hit me with his car when I was 8...I hope not...(though I got it that you were not the unlucky one to hit someone...thank goodness...)

I agree.  I almost never dream, or that I can remember.  This morning, I woke up feeling terrorized and panicked.  I also felt that I had been crying in my sleep.  I have no recall of what may have made me so scared, but I was shaking (almost like when you're really cold) and I felt absolutely terrified. 

I was very grateful when my phone rang and one of my CM gals called and talked me into the world of the living and awake because I was in that pseudo-sleep for a long time, feeling stricken.

*hugs my Greedy-girl for the trauma you experienced last night*

I just love you to pieces... I totally feel the same way.  It's good to know that there are safe people to talk to and just be honest, without fear of being shot down.  To me, that is the true mark of friendship.

i hate it that i never really grasped the concept of the self fulfilling prophecy until now. i hate that it has taken a couple hundred pounds and a great deal of self hatred for me to get it...But for fucks sake, where can i exchange this thing????!!! i mean seriously..i get it....really i do...And i promise to be grateful for every day thin, living, and attractive..AND i promise never to call myself a fat repulsive looking cow again.........once i'm not..........
