Christine I can so relate to the endless munchies, I go for something but poen cuts me off and reminds me its not me being hungry its the prednisone that is causing it.

But damn I feel hungry all the time

More hugs to Rain and Greedy for the incompetent immigratiion department. Its all just stupid what you have to go through and doing what one says and the other says something different. Is there a way you can request a supervisor that actually knows what you need instead of the first person that answers the phone. The supers happen to be more informed.

My hate is that BP has to fly out today for another week, we hate when he flies out on Sunday it cheats us of a whole weekend with him :(

I hate it when there is something wrong with my eye (my cornes is no longer circular, but has stretched out to an oval shape, and there is a dark spot with a line of blood on the left side), and I can't fix it.

Anybody know about eyes?

the red spot could be a subconjuctival hemorrage

if that's what it is, it will go away in a week or so. basically, it's a ruptured capillary in your eyeball.

That is what I thought. I had an injection in that eye, and they told me that could happen. I have just never seen my cornea react like that.

Right. The only thing that hurts now (after the inflammation went away - long story) is the site of teh injection...and that is mostly an itch.

Sigh...stupid eyes. If only they were not so important to my livlihood and survival.

Thanks. I am incredibly lucky to have good doctors, and appropriate insurance to pay for it. I am also incredibly thankful about that.

I am also lucky to have people in my life who will bully me enough to go to the doctor. Do you know how many times I heard this week, "This is not a democracy"

When my mom was still alive, we had this little heart shaped decoration with that, followed by "this is my queendom" on it.

That was the first thing disposed of. I hated that.

i have an eye disease(?) call Reoccurring Erosion Syndrome. What it means is once there is damage to the cornea (a combative patient scratched my eye and tore the cornea. And yes..it hurt.) the tear can reopen for no reason at all.

One thing i know for a fact...the cornea may just be a thin film...but it is a very resilient thin film with an amazing way of healing itself.

I know this is no help for what is going on with you...just wanted to send a bit of encouragement that the cornea is tougher than you might think.

It's true, after my second reconstruction the DOOOP who yanked my throat tubing somehow clocked me in the eye and GOUGED my cornea. Like, just that silly millimeter from permanent harm. It healed in a jiffy! I never found that dingbat...

I hate that it is now NINE FREAKIN O'CLOCK AT NIGHT AND I AM STILL AT WORK!!! It's Sunday, I should have left at SEVEN!!!! But the night guy hasnt shown up, and his phone is disconnected...

and I cant seem to get the messenger running on this notebook!! GAH!!!! Hell, I shouldnt even be ON the notebook, but I finished reading Shogun (which took me right to 7:00) and have nothing else to do.
