Well, if you've just eaten, you don't need any Rice-a-Roni.

Some chocolate for dessert is nice though, so you can keep the rice-a-roni.

The Truth of the Matter by Robb Foreman Dew

It's an interesting novel - set in the 1940's in a town in Ohio.  Apparently it is the 2nd in a trilogy.  i plan on reading the 1st and maybe the 3rd.  It's a peek at history of that time.

"Agnes offsets the "unnerving sense of being a tourist in her own home" by engaging in a companionable, gratifyingly physical relationship with Will Dameron, a widower and old friend from childhood. Chief among the rich rewards of this novel is Dew's depiction of Agnes's sexuality. Her capacity for physical pleasure serves as the one enduring solace in her life."
From the Wasington Post review as reported on Amazon.com

Sounds cool. I'm reading a biography of Mary Lincoln.

I'm still reading Guns, Germs & Steel.  Since it was on the truck this last week & I wasn't, I've just been reading my usual trashy skeery murder, serial killer kinda stuff.

I read that as well, it is very good. Right now I am reading "The Canon" by Natalie Ailgiers which is an excellent science for everyman kind of book.
