"Tradies", we call them (from "Tradesmen").

I have NEVER heard a jackhammer after 6pm ere, on any night, in three states (and three of our states is like a 1/3 of the USA).

Status: offline 		i hate it when i know about a job that i would be more than qualified for and it would have much better insurance and benefits....i hate that one of the things that keeps me from wanting to apply for it is that i am actually loving my doctor and don't want to have to use their doctor's just because i'd be an employee there...
i also hate that i know that there is a part of me that thinks i don't *deserve* this job or i'm less than or whatever.
i hate it that i don't really want to go to work today....
i hate it that i want to go in to work today and just wear my pajamas.
i hate it that there's still a part of me (and a growing part at that) that keeps hoping the legislators do not reinstate the funding so i can have some time off.

I hate that my taxes go to therapy for the politicians that got us INTO the GBF and NOT to the equipment for the soldiers these POLITICIANS sent into war.

Status: offline 		  I hate it that it's going to over 30° here today and combined with the heat index and humidity, it feels likes it's almost 40° before it's even noon.  On top of that, we have severe thunderstorm warnings today. Yippee kai-yai-yeah...... No splashpad for Mr. Smarties today.

As for your world, LaT, you have HORSES!!! That would make it all worthwhile in my book! 

(I was getting ready to buy a Percheron when I met Lumus and made plans to move back to the big city. So no horses here yet for me...)
