I'd like the power to break these surly bonds that keep me here, to be able to break free and move about the various universes and see what's really out there.

So, PBM... how does one make the trip down the rabbit hole?

a plastic 50 cent cherry red cadillac along as my hand (I was 11 months old) made of softish plastic that was not too shiny but not matte, only 3 pieces (mold of the body, no windows just windscreen shaped holes, 2 "barbell" type rods with discs on the underside for wheels).

I loved the way the sunlight made the red plastic glow as my Grandad drove us somewhere through an industrial-ish area, I think it was to the airport...

ad it smelled honest, not the like the toys that would come only ten years later.

and the cars.

and the people.

sooooooooooooooo

pbm,

there is a favourite image in your head, maybe a memory, from before you were 3 years old, that still is so lovely, it occasionally gets you through a real, bad, patch.

Hmmm, I have no memories before age 4. On the other hand, I felt intense spiritual stuff very young, 8-ish for sure, maybe earlier. I felt that there was spirit all around, especially in the natural world, trees & mountains & (of course) animals & bodies of water . . . . & my spiritual stuff has definitely helped me get thru life over & over . . . .

Soooooooo, PBM, what do you want to do with the rest of your life?

Sure. I think.

(... in answer to the obviously secret question posed by TPAM ...)

So, PBM... have you experienced the pure joy and bliss of waking up to the fact that your refrigerator/freezer appliance crapped out during the night?

Don't think so; I'm guessing that's where you are, in Kansas . . . . .

Soooooooooooo, PBM, ever owned your own motorcycle? If so, tell us about it / them . . .

No, never would consider it.  My BF when I was high school was badly injured riding one and hospitalized for weeks.  That pretty much turned me off of them.

sooooo.....pbm.......do you like horseback riding?

Love horseback riding. When I was 11, 12, 13-ish my grama had a horse that I was allowed to ride if I could (a) get a harness on, (b) get a riding pad on, & (c) get on it (gelded male) myself . . . . . Barn-sour & not happy about the exercise I gave it, but I loved it . . . . .

Soooooooo, PBM, ever had your own horse? Do you ever want one?

Greetings

No, I have never owned my own horse. I have tended horses but never owned one. At first glance at your question I would say yes, I would love to own a horse. But considering it more carefully I do not think I have the time to give a horse the care it would need to thrive. So in answer. If I was rich enough to have help in the stables tending the animal then yes, but barring becoming a billionaire no I would not want a horse.

So PBM do you like cats?

No, never had my own horse.  When I lived in a small town for 2 years, a few of my girlfriends had their own horses, as did one of my cousins.  They are pretty to look at, but I don't think I'd want all the work that goes with taking care of one.

Edited to answer above question:  I TOTALLY love cats.  I have two, and there is a third that is trying to adopt me.

soooo.....pbm.......what is your favorite animal and why?

Hmmm, my favorites are whales & chimpanzees & dolphins & most anything with feathers. But the cetaceans & the primates are tops.

ETA: Why? I love the ocean, & I envy the cetaceans their lives. They're beautiful. & the chimps I feel a deep connection to . . . . & birds are just cool; I'd love to be able to fly like a bird . . . . .

(& great answers, nephandi & Mystic, about the horses. Totally understand you . . . .)

Soooooooooo, PBM, would you or do you live on a ranch or farm? With details, please. . . .

No, I like the city life.  Living on a ranch or farm wouldn't be my style at all.

soooo.....pbm......do you prefer to life in an urban, suburban, or rural area?
