Status: offline 		Oh sorry, I just meant it as an "in general" kind of thing.  It seems that people are frying EVERYTHING anymore.  It just seems strange to me.  It is one thing if it is on Iron Chef, but it seems that everyone is doing it now.  *sigh*

Status: offline 		i prefer other methods of cooking.  During the summer i like food cooked on an outdoor grill...where the excess fat can drip off.

Status: offline 		Maybe i'm just old or something, but overly sweet stuff and deep fried stuff doesn't appeal to me much anymore.  i prefer fruit or sorbet (instead of ice cream).  Now, offer me a piece of real NY style cheese cake or a dark chocolate bar and i might eat it!

I have heard it said that your tastes change about every seven years or so.  So, yes, I can see where you would start prefering other foods.  Also I do know that when you change your eating habits (especially for the better), you don't always feel so good after eating something "bad."  So with this as well. . . it could be your bodies way of talking to you.
