sorry...saw Diablo and Hayward and took a leap...

you'll be happy to know that there are only 2 nuclear power plants now operating in California:
Diablo Canyon(near SLO) and San Onofre.  there are four commercial plants and one experimental plant that are no longer in operation.

Really! That's somewhat surprising. I would have thought that in a state this size, with the energy needs y'all have here, the nuclear option would have been a lot more popular. Heck, we have that many nukes in Minnesota. Just not on fault lines, as far as i know....
