Well yes, but these four names have something very specific in common.

It's probably pain and suffering most Greek myths end in some kind of pain or suffering just ask Hesiod.

Greek myths reflect humanity, FC!

But that's not it. The connection is neither emotional nor mythological. It's very straightforward.

Actually, no--Calypso is a nymph. And Phoebe was a woman, but another was a Titan.

The names of these women were indeed deliberately chosen from Greek mythology for a reason, and they do indeed pertain to things outside our world, but the connection is both straightforward and far more specific than that.

YES! Well done!

The names are chosen deliberately--just as Jupiter's moons are all named for his conquests, Saturn's regular moons come from Titans or older myths, as Saturn was a Titan. The irregular moons are in belts named for Inuit, Norse and Gallic mythological beings.

And so it's again your turn, dc!

Give it to fluffy, dc--I have to go out, and don't have time right now to compose a new quartet.

All these had fathers called King Philip.

Alexander the Great was the son of King Philip II of Macedon.
The Son of Metacom was the son of Metacomet a native American war chief called King Philip in early American Colonial times.
Marie, Duchess of Brabant was the daughter of King Philip II of France.
Maria Anna, Holy Roman Empress was the daughter of King Philip III of Spain.
